Christian Counselling

I am a Christian and passionate about serving God through supporting the local churches

Christ centred and Bible led

Part of what led me to establish By the Window was a desire to serve the churches and communities of Brisbane's southside. Through conversations with brothers and sisters in Christ from my church and other churches, I became increasingly aware of the growing need for accessible mental health and counselling support within the Christian community.

As I reflected on where God was leading me, I felt drawn to use the gifts, experience, and opportunities He has given me to serve others through counselling. It is a privilege to walk alongside people during difficult seasons of life and help them navigate the challenges they are facing.

Faith is not simply one aspect of life, rather it shapes how we understand ourselves, our relationships, our struggles, and our purpose. Christian counselling provides an opportunity to explore life's challenges with someone who shares and understands that foundation of faith.

I believe our identity is ultimately found in Christ, and that God's wisdom offers guidance, hope, and direction even in life's most difficult circumstances. When appropriate and desired by the client, counselling can incorporate biblical reflection, prayer, and conversations about faith as part of the therapeutic process.

My role is not to provide all the answers, but to create a safe and supportive space where people can explore their experiences, strengthen their relationship with God, and reflect on how their faith can inform the challenges they are facing today.

My hope is that those who come for Christian counselling leave feeling encouraged, supported, and reminded of the hope they have in Jesus Christ. Whatever season of life you find yourself in, Jesus loves you and is always with you.
